MARK BODDINGTON ON SUPERYACHT DESIGN PANEL

Director of Silverlining Mark Boddington was invited to join the expert panel at the latest Superyacht Design Summit, that took place on 28th Spetember at the the Chelsea Design Centre in London.
The focus of this debate was 'delivering quality vs meeting expectations'. In the world of ultra luxury yachts and the associated lifestyle, the ultimate client has incredibly high expectations and demands.

Chairing the event was The Yacht Report Group's Martin Redmayne, with an expert panel also including owner's representative and head of purchasing at a leading shipyard, Captain Julien Jouault; world leading designer, Ken Freivokh and specialist contract lawyer, James Lawson.
As expected, the debate was interactive and dynamic covering a number of topics including the expectations of the various members involved in the project, contracts and the best way to avoid delays and pitfalls.
